René is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with over 15 years experience in Association Management. As an IT professional at large, national associations, Rene has experience managing projects such as AMS implementations, website redesigns, and IT strategic planning. She specializes in working to identify solutions to solve business needs within the organization.
She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and currently serves as the Chair of the Technology Section Council. While working as an association professional, she was active in the National iMIS Users Group working with the membership and certification committees and was previously a participant in the early days of the Aptify users group. Previously, she worked in higher education administration, more specifically student housing working and teaching at several universities.
